Who it's for: Cost-share program for Napa County homes in High or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones, with priority for the Berryessa area and income-qualified households. Currently open to first-time participants; reimburses contractor-performed defensible space work listed in the home evaluation report.
Where: Napa County, California, Census GEOID 06055; homes must also meet the High or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone condition. Initial priority greater Berryessa area and/or income-qualified residents; countywide intake depends on remaining funds.

Submit the online interest form; the team follows up within 3-5 business days
Receive the no-cost home evaluation and report
Select report items and request pre-approval in the online application before starting work
Complete the work and submit a detailed invoice and completion photos from the evaluator's angles
