Who it's for

Free, recommendation-based home assessment funded by the California Department of Conservation. Trained IERCD assessors review the home on site, provide a written report of recommended actions to reduce ignition risk, and provide free 1/16-inch metal mesh screens for vents, plus resources and referrals. IERCD does not do installations or repairs. Open to people who own or rent a home within IERCD's service area; renters need the property owner's permission.
